Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964, in New York New York U.S.A. is an American actor who has a reputation for playing powerful, but fragile characters. Linney is from an aristocratic family that loved theatre. Her father, Romulus Linney was a writer. Linney attended Arts Theatre School at Moscow, then graduated with her M.F.A. from Juilliard School. New York City. The actress began performing on Broadway and was awarded awards for her performances in roles like Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
