American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her career began as a supporting role in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). On the FX series Dirt in which she was Willa McPherson, reporter. She also appeared in the role of a supporting character in the show that ran for a short time, The Ex List. In the initial season, she starred in the role of Moira O'Hara in the role of an untried Moira as well as in the season 2, she was Kaylee. She portrayed Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She also voices a number of characters in the animated series Family Guy. Since her appearance in 2019, she has been starring as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge resided in Darien, Connecticut, until the age of 10 at which point she and her mother relocated to California. They went through a few different places before eventually settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to become interested in acting, photography as well as singing around the age of 13. When she turned 15 she moved with her mom back to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.
